Beijing state visit
On the occasion of an important state visit of Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin to the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing, Christian Herren organised, on behalf of the Embassy, a tabletop exhibition of Swiss inventions from the last 120 years.The head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (DEAER), Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, led an economic and scientific mission to China from 1 to 5 July. Continuing the good cooperation in these areas was an important objective of the visit. Not least, the bilateral free trade agreement, which came into force ten years ago, is to be further developed.
